Due to my Japanese background, I am largely inspired by the culture and traditions and often incorporate these into my illustrations.

Below are some of my previous works, both commissioned by others and for personal use.
All work is drawn and coloured digitally using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or Procreate.

Bring Your Own Laptop Poster Design Challenge

In June 2020, I took part in a Bring Your Own Laptop challenge where the task was to create a poster to promote its Design Challenges website - byolchallenges.com.
Bring Your Own Laptop is an online learning platform consisting of beginner to advanced Adobe courses taught by Daniel Walter Scott.
Overview
The challenge was to create a poster design which will encourage more people to participate in the Bring Your Own Laptop Challenges series. The post needed to promote the website and encourage new participants to join.

Designer Notes
I was inspired by the bright gradient colours used throughout the website and aimed at bringing this element into the design through the use of blue, greens, purples and yellows. I also wanted to add a quirky element to the design, inspired by Walter Scott's personality, and opted for a scrapbook cut-out giving the design an almost "Monty Python" feel to it.
